Global Vision International
Overseas Volunteering
Re-Brand GVI and multiple divisions of the company
Global Vision International (GVI) required Sound in Theory to update their existing brand to make it more fresh, iconic and appealing to a youth market. Already a large and established volunteering company, GVI needed a globally recognisable brand that embodied their core values of quality, integrity and reliability. The icon depicts the volunteer - the most important part of GVI, as without them the programmes that operate all over the world simply would not exist. The clean and bold brand we created for GVI reinforces that volunteers with GVI really make a difference.

Yomps Adventure Travel
Adventure Travel Operator
Create Yomps Brand Identity
Yomps needed Sound in Theory to create a new brand for their start-up company that would make them stand out amongst the increasing number of volunteer travel companies. As a number of volunteering organisations put their focus on the volunteer aid aspect of their trips, Yomps wanted a brand that represented they provide trips that have more focus on adventure. Sound in Theory worked with Yomps to create a brand that encapsulates this criterion, producing a dynamic logo that would sit alongside outdoor brands as well as volunteer travel companies. We applied this brand throughout the website, brochures, flyers and print adverts we created for Yomps.
Jenral
Music People
Improved upon their existing logo
Sound in Theory were originally commissioned to produce a website for the Jenral Group, yet felt their existing logo needed improving to succeed in the music, publishing and events arenas in which they work. The challenge was to adapt and develop their existing logo, which had an image and font that appears heavily influenced by the martial arts, to make it more identifiable to Jenral’s line of work. By developing their logo and using an original font, we were able to create a logo for Jenral that is more subtle, stylish and transferable onto other mediums than before.
Node Clothing
Fashionable Types
Develop Brand Identity
Node Clothing sells high quality, designer clothes that are trendy, cool and cutting edge. They looked to Sound in Theory to communicate these qualities in their brand and give them a unique and contemporary image that would stand out in the hugely competitive clothing marketplace. To do this we created an engaging, vibrant and, importantly, unisex brand personality for Node that sits more alongside designer and skate brands than high-street chains. This therefore appeals to their target youth market, who like to pay that bit extra for clothes that are comfy and durable yet extremely stylish.

Logo Development
Leonie Roques is a personal fitness trainer based in Exeter, Devon, who provides fun and motivating personal training sessions to groups and individuals. Leonie required a brand identity that would reflect that she specialises in pre and post natal training, without alienating the many other clientele she trains.
