TouchType is an innovative software provider that has created a revolutionary application for touch-screen devices (i.e. iPhones and Blackberries). TouchType’s cutting-edge software transforms text entry by allowing users to simply select their next word, rather than type in every character. This technology dramatically reduces the number of keystrokes needed to input a section of text – making entering text into a touch-screen device much faster and more ergonomic.
Although TouchType had this pioneering software, they did not yet have a corporate identity, website or marketing materials. TouchType looked no further than Sound in Theory to create this for them.
TouchType and Sound in Theory agreed TouchType’s corporate identity should be cutting-edge, innovative and clean. It needed to establish TouchType as a contemporary company, which has a revolutionary product designed for leading technology products such as iPhones and Blackberries. The brand therefore needed to look serious and established enough to stand up and out in an Apple shop. Featuring a clever logo and minimal colour palette, Sound in Theory’s branding team created a contemporary graphic identity that met all TouchType’s requirements intuitively.
Sound in Theory applied this branding to the website we created for TouchType. The site needed to provide information about TouchType’s product, including the product statistics, whilst being extremely user-friendly. And like an iPhone and Apple product, the website’s design needed to be contemporary and clean, to assert TouchType’s position in the technology market.
Featuring the new branding’s minimal colour palette, clean images and a simple layout, Touchtype-online.com is a slick visual presence for TouchType and its products. With links to the following, or relevant, sections at the bottom of the copy, the site is also extremely easy to navigate. Each website page also features a custom set of icons created by Sound in Theory’s web design team, which each emulates Touch Type’s logo design to reinforce the company’s branding.
Proving that when people come to Sound in Theory, they really do use our range of services, TouchType looked to Sound in Theory’s print team to create their marketing materials. This included business cards and the artwork that TouchType use when they make corporate presentations.
