Flatline Festival

Snowboard, Freeski & Music Festival

Produced a promotional teaser for television & the web

The organisers of the Flatline Festival asked Sound in Theory to produce a 30-second clip for their snowboard, freeski and music festival, which would intrigue people enough to visit their website for more information. As this was a brand-new festival, we used high-quality 3D animation to create a huge festival stage set in a climate of mountains and snow, which appears to be waiting for the acts and festival-goers to arrive. The mysterious, eye-caching style of the clip will appeal to any intrepid adventurers who are looking for something new and exciting.

Audio Antics

music production for video games

A motion intro for the website

Audio Antics is a music production who specialise in making music for video games, so need an online presence that reflects the cutting-edge nature of their company. Sound in Theory produced an eye-catching motion introduction for the Audio Antics website entirely in Adobe After Effects, to enhance the contemporariness of the website we created. The audio of the introduction is used in conjunction with plug-ins, to generate waveforms and other elements that react to the backing track. We created the moving eye from a photo we took of our flash animator’s eye, which we separated into layers in Photoshop and animated in After Effects.

Louhannah

Trendy Bar & Restaurant in London

Built the entire bar in 3d for the website.

The Louhannah Bar and Lounge is a trendy London establishment that needed a website to entice people to their bar and restaurant, by reflecting its friendly, vibrant nature. Sound in Theory fulfilled this criterion by building and rendering a fly-through of the Louhannah bar (which we recreated entirely, from the bar stools to the beer pumps), using Maxon Cinema 4D. This reconstructed animated establishment is used on the Louhannah website as the background to various sections of the site, and as the visitor navigates between different sections of the bar, the camera moves too.
