Global Vision International
ethical volunteering organisation
all printed material
Sound in Theory has produced a wide variety of print material for ethical travel organisation GVI, from their business stationery to their marketing media. This utilised a range of printing methods, yet all printing material was produced using vegetable and soya-based inks onto recycled or fully-sustainable stock. We advised GVI to reduce their original 120-page A4 brochure to fewer than 40 pages, as the website we created negated the need for so much information – saving GVI money. We also provided them with files they can access from the website, empowering GVI to get in-field apparel produced locally for each of their projects worldwide; and have produced GVI’s large format displays, banners and even material flags.
Hedgerow Print
commercial lithographic printers
comprehensive range of business stationery
As part of our ongoing relationship with the commercial lithographic printing company, Sound in Theory has designed our most comprehensive range of business stationery for Hedgerow Print. Being a commercial printing company, Hedgerow Print needed their vast amount of printing materials produced with the mark of quality that their clients would expect. Sound in Theory achieved this with intuition and cohesion, creating excellent printing material that includes receipt pads, delivery notes, proof forms, notepads, labels, customer enquiry pads, labels, stickers, t-shirts, van signage, building signage, full-colour brochures and marketing material.
Abey Smallcombe
experts in earth art & architecture
portfolio leaflet
South West artists Jackie Abey and Jill Smallcombe required a portfolio leaflet to be distributed at the London Eco Homes event, where they had a section of the building dedicated to their earth art and architecture. With the objective to attract new clients and raise awareness about their craft to the many visitors to the event, the leaflet needed to show off their work simply and beautifully. The challenge was to create this working with both vegetable inks and recycled stock. Featuring striking images of their stunning work and clear copy, the portfolio leaflet achieves this superbly – capturing peoples’ attention long enough to stay out of the bin and in the hand.
Omega
polycarbonate roofing systems
stationery and promotional material
Omega is a South West company that supplies polycarbonate conservatory roofs and roofing components to customers throughout the UK. Sound in Theory created elegant two-colour business stationery and both two and four-colour promotional material for Omega to demonstrate this service with simplicity, ingenuity and value. Omega’s promotional brochure uses duotone artwork – giving it the depth and interest of full-colour printing, without the cost. We also provided them with flexible promotional material by producing an outer cover and series of inserts – allowing Omega to individually tailor the material they send out.
Rota
distribute ultra-lightweight alloy wheels
promotional brochure
As producers and distributors of ultra-light alloy wheels, Rota needed promotional material that looked slick and high-quality enough to appeal to the modified, performance-driven car market. With no existing promotional materials at all, Rota approached Sound in Theory to create this for them. We were given several high-end examples of promotional brochures that Rota wanted to emulate on a much tighter budget. With creativity and intuition, we produced a quality brochure for Rota that features full-colour printing throughout, has a matt lamination cover, and stands up and stands out against other car modification promotional brochures.
TCL Group
software testing solutions
business stationery, brochure and folder
Using both two-colour and full-colour processed printing, Sound in Theory has enhanced Transition Consulting Limited’s (TCL’s) existing print materials beautifully. The brochure folders we created feature elements from the brand development Sound in Theory’s branding team worked over the past three to four months. Using full-colour process printing, matt-lamination and die-cut finishing, the brochure folders offer an elegant minimalism that promotes TCL’s services with style and clarity. These are used to contain a variety of information sheets that we have designed – some that we produced using lithos and digital printing, the remainder that have been produced by TCL in-house.
Universal Office Supplies
office furniture suppliers
promotional folders and brochures
Despite having a nationwide client-base whom they provided with excellent solutions to their office furniture, Universal Office Supplies never had a brochure – until Sound in Theory suggested we could create one for their company that is affordable, stylish and would drive their sales. Featuring smart photos, clear copy and apt colours, the promotional folder we designed and developed increased Universal Office Supplies’ sales by a whopping £500k. Immensely chuffed and happy with such a result, Universal Office Supplies has since asked us to produce a series of brochures for them, which have become very powerful sales-tools for their nationwide business. These brochures have ranged from 46-60 pages, and feature full-colour printing throughout and matt-lamination covers.
